Swami Kalyan Devji Maharaj was an unique personality who had dedicated himself to the service of humanity and had been serving villagers for last one hundred years.
During this period of service Swami Ji had established nearly 200 institutions of National importance. These include Gandhi Polytechnic, Ayurved Medical College, Agriculture Science Centre, Ayurved research Centre, Degree Colleges, Inter Colleges, Senior Secondary Schools, Navodaya School, Girls Schools, Junior High Schools, Primary Schools, Hospitals, Eye Hospitals, Sanskrit Pathshalas, Agriculture College, Ambedkar Hostel, Dharmshalas, Dumb deaf and blind school, Yoga Training Centre, Old Person Ashram, Old Cows protection Centre, Orphanage and several spiritual and religious centres.
In addition to these institutions, most esteemed Swamiji had been involved in the service of Family Welfare, Swadesh Prachar, upliftment of Dalit and untouchables, Prohibition of Wine, safety of Environment, Communal amity and brother-hood.
Swamiji took interest in eradication cruel institution of child marriage, Dowry, and family disputes. He also took memorable part in freedom struggle. He remained into contact of Rastra Pita Mahatma Gandhi Ji.
Swamiji first met Mahatma Gandhi in Sabermati Ashram Ahmedabad in the year 1915. Swamiji deriving the inspiration from Rashtra Pita, visited villages bare footed and worked for the upliftment of poor villagers.
For a long time Swamiji hadbeen working for the Bharatiya Culture, Education, Health and improving the conditions of down trodden. He believes that real worship of god was to serve the down trodden.
